For as long as the Pokemon games have existed, the Pokemon formula has consisted of two released games. Both of which are identical in all ways but the Pokemon within the game. Each version will have exclusive Pokemon to the game. Of course the legendaries are the main differences, encouraging you to trade with your friends to get yourselves your own Palkia or Dialga.

But there are also the more mundane Pokemon that are exclusive to each version. We’ll go through them all here, so you know which copy of the game you want to pick up, or which Pokemon to be on the lookout for!
