The Five Star Raid rotations are finally swapping out, is it just me or does it feel like Zekrom and Reshiram have been here for too long? Hopefully though, you’ll have caught some! And remember to keep a few spare for Kyurem. But you’re hear for one reason, you want to know if you can get yourself a shiny Kyurem. Well you’re in luck because during the December Five Star Raids, Kyurem will be featured during them. And you can indeed get a shiny Kyurem. So next question:

Shiny Kyurem odds

So what are you odds of catching a Shiny Kyurem? Well thankfully only 1 in 20. So, if you’re going out of your way and you end up fighting in 20 different Kyurem raids then it’s more than likely you’ll get at least one shiny Kyurem. Now you might be thinking this seems too easy, right?

Well you might want to remind yourself that these five star raids are not easy. You’re going to need a consistent team of at least 5 or more to stand a good chance. You’ll need the raid passes which can cost you a pretty penny if you’re not using the daily free ones.

If you need a team or you’re not near any gyms, then it’s worth checking out Pokemon Go Gishan. Here you can find a list of friend codes you can add people from all across the world in. You can also get invited to or host remote raids, giving yourself a nice and big team to fight in Raids. However, you should remember that you can only invite 5 people for a Remote Raid.

That being said, I’ll give you my ultimate technique. If you’ve got another person nearby, you can both host individual raids on the same one. Each inviting 5 people and before you know it you’ve got a team of 12. Okay, I’ll admit, it’s not the best secret nor is it all that great. But I’ve noticed in five star raids, the moment you’ve got 8+ people, it’s so easy to take down the legendary.
