As part of the Season of Heritage, Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyrurem return as Tier 5 Raid Bosses in Pokémon Go.

Now that the Season of Mischief is over, we move into the Season of Heritage, which seems to be linked to the upcoming Legends: Arceus game with similar promotional artwork and historical references. The event will last three months, but so far we only have the details for what’s taking place in December, which includes the Tao Trio as Raid Bosses.

Can Reshiram, and Zekrom be shiny in Pokémon Go?

Reshiram and Zekrom are the current Raid Bosses for December 1st through December 16th, 2021, 10am local time. For the first time in Pokémon Go, you may encounter shiny versions of both Reshiram and Zekrom once defeated in a Raid.

Can Kyurem be shiny in Pokémon Go

Kyurem will then take over as Tier 5 Raid Boss on December 16th, 2021 at 10am local time, and will remain so until December 31st, 2021. Again, in a Pokémon Go first, the Kyurem you encounter upon winning a Tier 5 raid could be shiny.

Reshiram, the Vast White Pokémon, is a Dragon and Fire type and is weak only to Ground, Rock and Dragon-type moves. As such, some of the best counters for Reshiram are:

• Palkia with Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor
• Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide
• Rayquaza with Dragon Tail and Outrage

*Rock Wrecker is a fantastic Charged Move for Rampardos, but is a Legacy Move, meaning it cannot currently be learned with a Charged T M. If you have it, though, use it!

While the Tao Trio are all Dragon types, the Deep Black Pokémon Zekrom is also an Electric type. This means its weaknesses are Ground, Ice, Dragon and Fairy, and some of the best Pokémon to use against it are:
