Rainbow Six Siege Snow Brawl revealed as 2021’s festive event

Ubisoft has revealed that Rainbow Six Siege’s Wintry Snow Brawl event is the upcoming festive limited-time mode. The new game mode launches on December 14, allowing players to jump in and play till January 4.
What is the Rainbow Six Siege Snow Brawl mode?
Players who participate in the Rainbow Six Siege Snow Brawl will experience a new take on a snowball fight. Participants will head over to Chalet, greeting Siege’s winter-themed map with new festive cheer. Those who enter Chalet are equipped with a Snowblast Launcher, along with an Operator’s usual primary weapon(s). Not to mention the game’s aim is to capture flags and return them. Morso, players can find new powerups on the map, such as speed boosts, increased rate of fires, air jabs, ammo, and health pickups.
Since it is a special mode, there will be a restricted amount of Operators to play. The Operators available include Ash, Blackbeard, Buck, Montagne, and Osa on the attack, with defenders opting to play Castle, Frost, Rook, Thorn, or Vigil. When playing these characters, you are allowed three lives before you go down, forcing you to respawn.
To celebrate the occasion, Ubisoft has confirmed that there will be special event cosmetics to unlock through event packs. You can get free event packs by completing special missions during the event, or you can get cosmetics through the in-game Snow Brawl bundle. Alternatively, you can buy individual packs for 300 R6 credits or 12,500 Renown. Moreso, the collection items can also be purchased as individual bundles for 1680 R6 Credits.
Like other events, Ubisoft will give away one pack for free to all those who log in while the event takes place. You can earn an additional free pack every week for completing the mode’s weekly challenges.
