Star Wars Jedi Survivor is almost here and plenty of its game mechanics have already been revealed. One of the returning features of the game is Meditation Points. You may remember these from Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. These important areas allowed you to rest and apply your skill points.

When it comes to resting in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, there are benefits and negatives to it. Each time you reach a Meditation Point, it is important to think about whether or not you currently need to use it. So should you rest in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?

How resting works in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

In the original game, Jedi Fallen Order, it was a surprise to see Meditation Points. These resting areas acted similarly to bonfires in Dark Souls. When you rested at one, you regained all of your health and enemies respawned. You also got the added benefit of being able to level up Cal by using skill points. These skill points increased Cal’s abilities and allowed him to use more of his force abilities.

Jedi Survivor Meditation

As shown in various gameplay previews that have appeared across YouTube, Meditation Points are coming back in Jedi Survivor. They will act in the same way as the original game. This means, when you are questioning whether or not to rest, you should consider if you want the enemies to respawn.

Each time you rest in Jedi Survivor, you will be able to use your skill points to increase Cal’s abilities as well as adjust your lightsaber configuration. On top of this, your health and force meters will be refilled. When you find a new Meditation Point in the game, you should always rest so you have full health and plenty of healing when facing off against the threats ahead.
