Sonic Frontiers releases in a mere month! From our first preview of the game, it’s become quickly apparent that Sonic is back in a big way. He’s had quite the experience with 3D games so far, and this game looks to rectify that. But will there be Sonic Frontiers DLC? What is the Sonic Frontiers DLC Release Date?

What’s In The Sonic Frontiers DLC?
As of right now (other than the stuff you get from pre-ordering the game), there’s only one confirmed piece of DLC that will center around a Monster Hunter collaboration. That’s right, Capcom and SEGA are partnering up to combine these two worlds for one DLC pack.

The DLC itself will be completely and totally free to everybody who owns the game and will allow players to receive gear based on the Rathalos and Felyne Rathalos, in addition to adding a BBQ Spit Meat-Grilling minigame for you to use to power up Sonic himself.
A previously leaked advertisement for Sonic Frontiers also features a mention of DLC, which suggests this might not be the only piece of DLC planned for the game. Obviously, it’s as yet unclear whether or not we’ll get anything more substantial than small cosmetic pieces (a large-scale expansion would likely be welcomed by many), but we’ll keep our eyes on it.
What Is The Sonic Frontiers DLC Release Date?
The DLC for Sonic Frontiers was released on March 23, 2023 called ‘Sights, Sounds & Speed’. This has likely been positioned in such a way that players can beat the original game before diving into this DLC, and opens up the market for further DLC this year.
