Stardew Valley’s Shane is one of the most popular characters within the community. When you move into Stardew Valley for the first time, he comes off as cold and unpredictable. However, if you manage to get your friendship levels up with him, he can prove to be a much warmer character. He is one of the older NPCs and has a caring side to him. He lives with his aunt and cares for his goddaughter Jas. You will often find him at Jojamart and the Saloon.

How to marry Shane in Stardew Valley

Shane Guide

Start spending some time with Shane at Jojamart or the Saloon and you will slowly begin to earn hearts for his friendship levels. Shane was born in Marnie’s Ranch and is currently a JojaMart employee.

One of the best things about Shane as a marriage candidate is that he is one of the most straightforward options out there. He has a very consistent schedule and keeps the same routine no matter which season you are in. Shane is also one of the few characters whose schedules are not affected by rain.

When it comes to gifting, Shane is one of the easiest characters to gift. He loves simple things like pepper poppers, beer, hot peppers, and pizza. You can also level up his friendship with universal loves. Universal likes (except pickles), universal eggs (except void eggs), and all fruit (except hot peppers) can also be used to level up his friendship.

Shane has some of the best heart events and it focuses on his depression. He also shares with you that he is a former addict and is going through recovery. If you are looking for a light-hearted atmosphere in your relationship, Shane might not be the one for you. If you do like Shane, play his heart events and give him a bouquet at eight hearts to begin dating.
