There’s never been as many people on Steam as there are right now. In fact, Steam has recently seen a record number of concurrent users – with more than 33,000,000 gamers actively using the platform, now resting closer to the 30 million mark. For those new to Steam, you’ll be pleased to know there are often a handful of sales. So far in 2024 we’ve already seen events such as February’s Next Fest, the Lunar New Year sale and Remote Play Together, most of which last around a week’s time.

When is the next Steam sale in 2024?

We’ll yet again see recurring events like the Steam Next Fest, a familiar event for Steam users – with two taking place in 2024. It’s essentially a digital gaming festival hosted by Steam, where game developers offer free demos of their upcoming titles. This event allows you to get hands-on experience with these games before they are officially released.

It’s a great opportunity to explore a wide variety of games, from different genres, and provide feedback to developers. Steam Next Fest often includes developer live streams and Q&A sessions, making it a must-visit for any avid gamer on the Steam platform to discover and engage with upcoming games.
