Street Fighter 6’s second closed beta now has a release date. Now hopefully that fans know how to sign up to register for a chance to test the closed beta, let’s have a look at the characters you’ll be allowed to play. Let’s take a look at the Street Fighter 6 second closed beta characters revealed for this test.

The Street Fighter 6 second closed beta will not include all the characters from the extensive roster that we can expect to see in the official release. In fact, there will only be 8 playable characters in the closed beta.

The second closed beta test will incorporate everything that was in the first closed beta. Everything from character creation, ranked and casual matches, battle hub matches to training modes and more. As for the playable characters, here’s a short list of the 8 you can use in the closed beta:

• Luke
• Jamie
• Ryu
• Chun-Li
• Guile
• Kimberly
• Juri
• Ken

These are the same playable characters from the first closed beta test, so players who are returning will already be familiar with their move sets and recent updates for Street Fighter 6.

Not only this, but there will be 6 stages of your choice to do battle on. We’re so excited for this, join the fighter on 16th-19th of December and register now for a chance to play!

Street Fighter 6 closed beta character changes

Along with the updates to the input lag for 120HZ screens or higher, there have also been some interesting character changes to check out before you test the beta.

Level 1 Super Arts have now changed to not have projectile invincibility for all characters. This means that Ryu’s Hashogeki and Shin Hashogeki will be considered strikes in the future and not projectiles as they have been in the past.

Parries have also been adjusted in SF6. This removes recovery time of Perfect Parrying a projectile and releasing the stance within a certain period of time afterwards.

And finally, Perfect Parries on projectiles will now be given the same damage scaling as strikes, too.
