Unlocking Master Rank Layered Armor

Sunbreak Master Rank Layered

If you want to get access to Master Rank Layered Armor, you need to complete all of the main stories. Once you complete the Proof of Courage quest, you’ll notice that Minayle the Blacksmith offers you the opportunity to get the sought-after armor.

But getting your hands on the Sunbreak Master Layered Armor sets is not easy as you need to farm for items. For most sets available in the Sunbreak DLC, you need to grab Outfit Vouchers and tokens earned from Anomaly Quests, which unlock after completing Proof of Courage.

Most sets require two vouchers regardless of the rarity and other materials needed. Other items required to craft these sets can vary depending on what you’re looking to craft. Some crafting materials can be dropped by monsters while others can be gathered by Meowcenaries. If you want to get the Buddy Layered Armor for your companies, they require only one voucher per piece but they require Heavy Scrap, which can be acquired at a slow rate.

Layered Armor Transmog

In addition to the unlock requirements, all Master Rank Layered Armor Sets work similarly to Low/High Rank sets, by allowing you to transmog your appearance. It’s one of the best features of Monster Hunter Rise as you can use any set that suits your build while also being able to fashion your character however you want.

Sunbreak has been a roaring success and it is a lot of fun to farm Master Rank Layered Armor sets. If you want to know more about the new monsters, you can check them out on the official website.
