The popular first-person puzzle game, The Talos Principle, returns with its official sequel, The Talos Principle II which showed off its reveal trailer during the PlayStation Showcase. Even though Croteam let the word about The Talos Principle II out in 2016, this is the first full trailer we’ve been shown. It’s been confirmed for a while now, but we finally have more news on the puzzle game and a beautiful trailer to enjoy.

We have all the information you need to stay on top of release dates and more below!

Talos Principle 2 Release window prediction

The Talos Principle sequel, Talos Principle II has not been given a release date yet, though we predict that it will release later in 2024. We expect to receive more information on a release date in time and will update this article when one is given.

Talos Principle 2 Platforms

The Talos Principle II will be releasing on several platforms so no matter which way you want to play the puzzle game, there will be options. Here are the platforms it will be available on:

  • PlayStation 5
  • Xbox Series X/S
  • PC

Only the newest generation of consoles will be able to play the newest release for The Talos Principle series, so if you’re on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you won’t be able to purchase or play the game on those consoles.

Talos Principle 2 Plot

The sequel will be set in a world where humans have gone extinct. Their legacy lives on in the robots roaming around, though, and of course cats. Explore vast environments that mimic real-life locations, although, in The Talos Principle II, many of these environments have been seemingly overridden with technology.

Philosophy will still be heavy in the game, and the trailer speaks of rebuilding a sentient society. There will be plenty of puzzles to solve and plenty of cats and other animals to see while you journey through this new world and explore secrets left behind by those who came before you.

The game will deliver new puzzles, a deep storyline and beautiful environments, even with just the reveal trailer being debuted.
