Exciting new map news for Call of Duty fans as Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone is set to launch on June 14. This is Vondel, your new urban playground, with a range of thrilling additions, including a new medium-sized Warzone map.

Vondel is looking hot for Call of Duty

Vondel, a captivating waterfront district in a Baroque European city, takes center stage as the latest location for Operators to explore. This brand-new locale offers a unique blend of old-world history and modern architectural developments. However, chaos ensues as an imminent attack threat forces the complete evacuation of Vondel.

It soon becomes apparent that this turmoil is part of a larger plan orchestrated by a masked figure, known for their infamy. The mysterious leader’s forces are simultaneously operating in both Al Mazrah and Vondel, presenting a formidable challenge for players.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 introduces the highly anticipated Vondel map, adding new depth to the battle royale experience. In the ever-evolving genre, the introduction of fresh content is crucial, and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has been consistently delivering new modes, maps, and mechanics. Vondel, the second largest map in the game after Al Mazrah, boasts 15 points of interest and features a densely packed urban environment with verticality and a system of canals.

Players can navigate these waterways by swimming or utilizing the new amphibious vehicle. Dynamic fog adds to the intensity, as the environment can shift from bright and sunny to dark and murky. Some areas of dense fog will require thermal optics to spot opponents, while lighter fog allows for clearer visibility. More details about the map will be revealed on June 8.

As anticipation builds, players eagerly await the release of Vondel. While the previous Warzone 2 map, Akisha Island, received mixed reviews, Vondel appears to offer a more condensed version of the beloved Verdansk, the original Warzone map.

This condensed design may prove appealing to fans who were longing for a return to the gameplay experience that captured their hearts. However, only time will tell if Vondel lives up to expectations and provides an exhilarating battleground for players.

With the imminent launch of Season 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone enthusiasts can prepare themselves for intense battles across these brand-new battlegrounds. Get ready to engage in thrilling combat as you explore Vondel and uncover the mysteries behind the masked figure’s plans. Mark your calendars for June 14 and prepare for an adrenaline-fueled adventure like no other.
