Warzone 2 is finally here, and so is the instant death bug. This is the latest bug to be discovered in the game which seems to prevent players from being downed.
Right now, the issue is plaguing a huge number of players across various platforms with no fix seemingly coming from Activision for a little while.

Warzone 2 Instant Death Bug explained
So, the nature of the WArzone 2 instant death bug is to prevent players from being downed. If you don’t know, normally in Warzone 2 when you take enough damage, you don’t die, you become ‘downed’ instead.
During this state, you can defend yourself and your teammates can revive you. However, this bug prevents players from entering the downed state, skipping straight to just killing players instead.

This has obviously made lots of players very upset, and various people have taken to places like Twitter to vent their frustration.
If Activision is properly paying attention, then this bug will be at the top of its hit list when it comes to providing fixes.
Is There Any Way Around the Instant Death Bug?
At the time of writing, if you’re unlucky enough to be afflicted by the Warzone 2 Instant Death bug, then you’re pretty much stuck with it. The only way to truly avoid it is to never get hit, which is a good trick if you can do it.
Beyond that, you’ll just need to cope as best you can, and wait for Activision to supply us all with a fix.
