Every seasonal activity in Destiny 2 seems to have some upgrades you can unlock throughout the season to make them simpler and we do not mean the reworks to the light subclasses.

Last season we had various hacking upgrades to help with the Seraph missions and this season we have Favors of Grace to help with our prison breaks.

However, these Favors can be a bit non-descript if you don’t pay attention to which upgrades you are picking. Then you will be left wondering how to complete seasonal challenges that require them. let’s go over what the Favors of Grace are in Destiny 2 and how to use them.

How to farm Favors of Grace in Desitny 2

In order to farm Favors of Grace in Destiny 2, you will need to spend one of your two weekly seasonal upgrade materials. This will allow you to unlock one of the three favors available and you can unlock more in future weeks.

Since you can only pick one favor a week it is important that you choose carefully. Each favor grants you different bonuses and can be summoned in different ways.

The Exemplar of Justice will give you increased melee recharge, the Exemplar of Grace will give you increased mobility, and the Exemplar of Zeal will give you increased grenade recharge.

How to Use Favors of Grace in Destiny 2

In order to use Favors of Grace, you will have to be doing a seasonal arena or seasonal activity. Sadly you can’t unlock these upgrades and then take them into the latest raid or legendary Lightfall mission.

Once inside the seasonal activity, you will have your favors active to drop. Each favor has a different method of dropping so you will need to pay attention if you are looking to get a specific one to drop.

The Exemplar of Justice can drop when you get ability kills, The Exemplar of Grace can drop when you get special weapon kills, and the Exemplar of Zeal can drop when you get heavy weapon kills.

Best method to farm Favors of Grace in Destiny 2

The easiest method to farm favours of grace is through the Vexcalibur Exotic Quest. With the exemplar of grace perk, you can increase the favors from spawning as it increases the drop rate when you achieve a final blow with a special weapon as mentioned above.

Once a favor drops on the ground, anyone in the fireteam will be able to pick it up and take advantage of the bonus it gives. Even if you don’t have that favor unlock, if another fireteam member does and causes it to drop, you can pick it up and use it.

The favors drop on the ground in small pillars of light, all you need to do to pick them up is simply walk into the pillar. They will generally be active for a few seconds which is enough time to recharge any abilities or give you a nice boost of speed.

This makes the favors quite a nice bonus to help out with legendary clears of the seasonal activity battlegrounds.
