The final boss of the Resentment Act, the Seething Sigh – also known as the Lung boss – is the most challenging boss in the game. Additionally, the boss limits the party compositions you can use against it, completely eliminating damage-over-time teams since the Lungs are immune to that.
The Shambler

It has to be defeated as quickly as possible before it can summon more tentacles by constantly damaging it with Blight.
Leviathan
Coming in slightly undemanding yet still quite deadly, the Leviathan boss fight takes the third spot. It can grab away one of your characters with its hand, rendering them completely unusable until the hand it has summoned is defeated. Moreover, the multiple debuffs applied by the boss, along with the boss’s AoE nuke attack, make the battle incredibly demanding. The best shot at defeating it is having stacked up Move and Debuff Resist.
What Is The Easiest Boss In Darkest Dungeon 2?
To gather up some easy loot and make a few upgrades to your gear, you can jump into a fight against The Librarian, who is arguably the easiest boss to beat in Darkest Dungeon 2. Even though the environment and the Librarian himself look grotesquely fearsome, with burn resistance and enough blight damage, the battle would be a piece of cake if you take your strongest party.
