Destiny 2 has no shortage of DLC for players to mess around with. Since the game has been out so long, it has had almost yearly additions of content to keep it fresh. Even seasonal additions are being added to change up outdated systems.

However, no one wants to pay full price for some of the older content that is no longer relevant or pay full price for content that has been partially shelved. That seems to be where the Armory Collection for Destiny 2 comes into play. Let’s go over what the Armory Collection is in Destiny 2 and what it comes with.

Since this is the newest DLC added to the Destiny 2 page, many fans might first assume this to be one of the seasonal silver packs, but that is not quite right. The Armory Collection is a bundle of some of the game’s smaller expansions.

In particular, the Armrocy Collections grants you access to the Forsaken Pack and the 30th Anniversary Pack. Both of these DLCs are quite small on their own. But with the Armory Collection, you can get both of them for about half-price.

Destiny 2 Armory Collection – What’s In It?

To TL;DR it, the armory collection gives you:

• Over 20 Exotics Weapons
• Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher
• Flaming Tiger Ornament

The pack will also grant access to

• Forsaken Ciphers
• Grasp of Avarice
• Shattered Throne
• Last Wish

While normally Destiny 2 DLCs will either give you an emote and some silver or a full-fledged expansion. Both the 30th Anniversary collection and the Forsaken pack are a bit different for Destiny 2.

The Forsaken pack will give you access to what is left of the Forsaken expansion since most of it was sunset from the game. At the time, this is a new location, a dungeon, a raid, and three forsaken ciphers that can be used to pick up three Forsaken-specific exotics for free.

While both of these packs alone might not seem super worth the price tag to most, this bundle can make the purchase much more stomachable. It would be nice if some of the older content like the Forsaken pack was made free to all players but there is no telling when that will happen or if it ever will.
