The newest title in the insanely popular Legend of Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally here. Fans have been waiting years for the follow up to the hit Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and now that our hands are on it, every corner of Hyrule is being explored. A fan favorite from the previous game was the cozy village of Hateno, where Link was able to purchase a house and help the locals. Hateno makes its return in Tears of the Kingdom, but where is it?

Where can you find Hateno Village in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Hateno Village will be in the same map location as Breath of the Wild, in the province of Lanayru. From Central Hyrule, the first location in the overworld you’ll be in that’s not the Great Sky Island, the easiest way is go is this:

  • Head onto the main roads heading Southeast in Hyrule
  • Make your way to the top of Mount Lanayru
  • Activate the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower
  • Paraglide down across the mountains, heading South, to Hateno

And then land safely in Hateno Village. The exact map coordinates for the town are 3412, -2127, 0120. You can still find the ancient tech lab, Link’s house, and plenty of familiar NPCs in the bustling town, as well as a plethora of side quests to choose from.

What can be found in Hateno Village in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Besides the previously mentioned places, you can also find the general store, armor shop, and the dye shop, where you can dye pieces of Link’s clothes any color you want. There will also be an inn for Link to stay at, although you can also just stay in Link’s house, which is now labeled Zelda’s house.
