Will there be a Resident Evil 5 Remake? – Answered

The Resident Evil 4 Remake was released to resounding appraise. Gone is the old version of the game that was more action-oriented and in is the new horror-amplified remake. Starting with the remaster of the original, each numbered game in the series has seen a remake so far. Because of this, it is easy to assume that Resident Evil 5 will receive the remake treatment as well. After all, it is the next game in the series and one that is in desperate need of a makeover (unless Chris wants to remain superhuman). But will there be a Resident Evil 5 Remake coming in the next few years?
Resident Evil 5 Remake signs
Plenty of fans have already speculated that there will be a Resident Evil 5 Remake and the signs point to it being true. While nothing has been confirmed yet, there is plenty of evidence that says a Resident Evil 5 Remake is coming. Spoilers ahead if you haven’t completed the Resident Evil 4 Remake or are still struggling to get past the lithograph puzzle in the castle.

If you have reached the end of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, you are given a cutscene involving Ada. She has the Las Plagas Amber and contacts the man she got it for; Albert Wesker. Wesker tells her that he has plans for it and that the death toll will be in the billions. That’s right, billions. If this wasn’t enough of a guarantee that the remake is coming, Wesker’s monitor might be. Looking at Wesker’s monitor, you can see the Underground Garden from the fifth game.

Of course, take all of this with a grain of salt. While Resident Evil 4 was known as the best game in the series, Resident Evil 5 is often referred to as the worst. This is due to the poor co-op abilities, the constant screaming, and Chris’ inhuman ability to punch a boulder into dust. Since the remakes are showing massive success, it wouldn’t be surprising if Resident Evil 5 got a facelift and Chris got some normal-sized muscles.
