Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the newest installment in a Borderlands series. It is a spin-off of the original franchise and follows the notion started by The Assault on Dragon Keep in a DLC to one of the best looter-shooters of all time in Borderlands 2.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Max Skill Points
Even though the max level this time is 40 in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands we have more skill points than just 40. The number of skill points at your disposal is 44. You can spend 44 skill points into one or two skill trees. At level 20 you will gain more points than the usual one, same goes for level 40. It allows for a bit more build diversity and is a welcome change.

I wonder if they will continue this trend with level cap increases. The max level in Borderlands 3 was 50 at the time of the game’s release, and right now over 2 years later it is capped at 72. It was the same for Borderlands 2 until they increased the cap like 7 years after Borderlands 2 released with a new DLC promoting Borderlands 3.
In a future level cap in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands we might see a level increase of 6 levels for example, but you might get more skill points. It is an interesting change and allows for some more room for balance without over leveling the character but also gives more means for build customization for the players.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is scheduled to release on March 25, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One X/S, Xbox Series X/S.
