The WWE franchise has continued to grow and offers fans one of the best digital wrestling experiences on the planet (thanks 2K).
WWE 2K22 was a massive success, with mostly positive reviews – thanks to its stunning graphics and much improved mechanics.
The last title introduced a redesigned gameplay engine, new controls, MyGM, and tons of other reasons to pick it up.
As we get closer to the possible launch of the next iteration, we predict the WWE 2K23 release date, any WWE 2K23 news, and a closer look at leaks and rumors.

WWE 2K23 release date prediction
Trying to predict the release of WWE 2K23 is quite hard. The WWE 2K22 release date was March 8th, 2022, whereas WWE 2K21 (canceled) and 2K20 were released in October of their respective years.
Fans will know that WWE 2K21 was eventually canceled, a first for the franchise in two decades.
Many felt the 2K20 was a step back in quality over the well-liked WWE 2K19.
After this disastrous launch and a number of very negative reviews, 2K Games stated it had “heard and appreciated your feedback,” This delay and the rampant Covid-19 issues ultimately led to 2K21 being canceled.
Based on WWE 2K22, we predict the WWE 2K23 release date to be March 2023 – which is some way away from the time of writing, but the recent 2K earnings call suggests it will be before April.
WWE 2K23 pre order date prediction
Until the game is announced, pre order information will be unknown.
With the previous WWE title, you could pre order the Standard Edition, Cross-Gen bundle, Deluxe Edition, and the WWE 2K22 nWo -4 Life Edition.
When WWE 2K23 will be announced is still up in the air but generally, we would expect to see it around 3-4 months before launch.
Until we receive more information, our best estimates for pre-ordering WWE 2K23 would be early 2023, but we still haven’t had an official announcement about release.
WWE 2K23 pre order bonus predict
We expect to see the same old benefits included in pre-order bonuses this time around.
Playable superstars, seasons pass, cosmetics, packs, cards, you name it, they will likely feature again for WWE 2K23.

We think the price of WWE 2K23 will be similar to WWE 2K22.
We imagine the Standard Edition will cost between $60-$70 depending on your console’s generation.
What WWE 2K23 editions might we see?
It is always a safe bet to say we will get a WWE 2K23 Standard Edition, a WWE 2K23 Cross-gen bundle, and a WWE 2K23 Deluxe Edition.
It is unknown if we may see a special edition at this stage and what the premium edition will be called but there is normally at least three different editions.
WWE 2K23 cover star prediction
While we’d love to see the ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage on the cover, there are a number of legends that could take that spot.
It is a bit of a trend of late to just have one star on the cover but with multiple editions, we can have multiple cover stars.
The Rock? Undertaker? Stone Cold? John Cena? Our prediction has to be people’s champ, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
What WWE 2K23 game modes could we see?
MyGM will likely return to WWE 2K23 but what other game modes could we see?
Other star modes such as MyRise, Universal Mode, and the 2K showcase could all return.
MyGM let’s you call the shots and control the likes of Raw, Smackdown, and NXT.
MyRise allowed players to experience two adventures, featuring unique male and female storylines.
What we want from WWE 2K23?
A deeper General Manager mode would née a huge plus. More control over the schedule, while also being able to have more creativity and customisation over the story lines would be a huge bonus.
The roster will obviously be changed ad updated, with a few newcomers added while other fighters, like Samoa Joe, will be missing after signing with other companies.
How many GB for WWE 2K23?
Well, this really is a shot in the dark but the last game required 60GB of storage on PC, so we’d expect it to be in around that figure, potentially even more.
