Because of its sophisticated architecture, the RX 7900 XT can fit nearly twice as many transistors as the RTX 3090. As a result, the former now has a stronger foundation from which to compare. A GPU runs more threaded operations in a given amount of time when there are more transistors.
Both GPUs draw similar usage of power. The RTX 3090 graphics card consumes 350W, while the AMD 7900 XT needs 300W. With a boost clock speed of 2.4 GHz, the 7900 XT has over 800 MHz faster clock speed than the 3090. The GPU will be able to achieve greater frame rates and resolutions as a result. The TDP is a further point worth considering.
The fact that there is a 50W difference is significant to Team Red because it demonstrates its commitment to providing the greatest performance per watt on the market. On December 13, the RX 7900 XT will go on sale with an initial MSRP of $899. The RTX 3090 was first introduced in September 2020 with a $1,499 starting price. That is a difference of $600.
A technical comparison between the graphics card RTX 3090 and the RX 6950 XT may be found on the website technical city. They said that, with the exception of 4K gaming, the 6950 XT surpasses the 3090 in practically all resolutions. We are also aware that the RX 7900 XT is an improvement over the RX 7900.
