Looking at some PC components then you might have heard of a couple of names around. But one that is up there you might wonder what is Asus ROG.

Established in 1989 is a Tawainese computer and electronics company. Ranging from computers, laptops, components, phones networking, and much more. Expanding in what it offers in a range of electronics.

And since 2006 it has had a range of products with the ROG (Republic of Gamers) branding. As a higher-end product, similar to Gigabyte Aorus, it asks for a higher price compared to the other offering. In turn giving premium, better-performing hardware.

Such can be seen in its lineup, with ROG offering some of the best GPUs around. With great build quality and performance as well they lead the pack. But at a much steeper price.

Is Asus and ROG the same?

ROG Is the Republic of Gamers. It is a brand name use by Asus since 2006 for its gaming brand. So it is the same the same company just with different offerings.

ROG is the premium range of products, aimed at gamers and the top end performance it is an expensive range but should give you the top end performance.

They offer a variety of products to give you a well performing component. If its a motherboard, power supply, or one of the best graphics cards.

Is Asus ROG best for gaming?

Asus ROG is one of the best choice of components for gaming. It is designed to offer the top end performance out of the lot. With designs focused on cooling and looks, it makes sure there is no drawbacks.

However, it does come at a premium, with a larger price over Asus’ normal offering. So it does bring with it a premium choice it might be more than you need and come with features that aren’t completely necessary.
