What is the fastest RTX 4070 graphics card?
Looking to get the best fastest choice then there are some expected models on top

When looking for a good choice of new GPU, then you probably want to consider the best-performing option. And without much variation between cards, you can look at what is the fastest RTX 4070 graphics card.
The reviews of the 4070 have shown it to be a good option for a card if you’re a few generations behind. But it still costs a bit more and might not be the best graphics card for you just yet. But if you’re still keen on getting you’re hands on one, there is a good variety to choose from and it might be hard to pick.
As the best RTX 4070 will only vary with what clock rate it runs at, as the AIBs aren’t allowed to change much else from that. As such the overclocked cards will be the better performers out of the lineup. But they do come with a higher price, so it might depend if the performance increase is worth the cost.

Fastest 4070s so far
As the cards are yet to release, the full specs of the range have yet to come out for the custom cards. As such, we don’t fully know the details and what to expect from those cards as the non-MSRP cards are being held back until the release itself.
But usually, from previous releases, we can speculate as to which models will be on top for the GPU. Previously we have seen the ROG Strix, Colorful Neptune, MSI Suprim, or AORUS cards tend to be on the highest ends.
So far, for the RTX 4070, we have a few on the higher end. The base card has a boost clock of 2.475 GHz and this has been increased with some models.
- Colorful iGame Neptune OC – 2.64 GHz
- Colorful iGame Vulcan OC – 2.625 GHz
- MSI Suprim X – 2.625 GHz
- AORUS Master – 2.595 GHz
- Gainward Phoenix GS – 2.595 GHz
- Palit GamingPro OC – 2.595 GHz
