As you look to buy your new best graphics card, then there are the popular options of Nvidia or AMD. But with a new contender in Intel, we look at what is the most powerful Intel ARC GPU.

The most powerful Intel ARC GPUs are the A750 and A770. The Intel Arc A750, based on the Alchemist generation, utilizes the Xe-HPG architecture and is manufactured on a 6nm process.

It has 3584 execution units (EUs) and a 2,400 MHz maximum clock speed. Furthermore, 8GB of GDDR6 memory is included onboard, along with 256-bit bus width for connectivity. With a 16 Gbps clock, it gives a bandwidth of 512 GB/s.

The total power consumption for the graphics card is 225 W, requiring one 8-pin and a 6-pin connector to function. It features three DisplayPort 2.0 and one HDMI 2.1 output, as well as real-time ray tracing technology, variable rate shading technology, and Microsoft’s DirectX API 12 Ultimate support.

Is the Intel Arc A770 good

The Intel Arc A770 also utilizes the Xe-HPG architecture and is manufactured on a 6nm process. It boasts 4096 execution units (EUs), a maximum clock speed of 2,400 MHz, and 16GB of GDDR6 memory connected via a 256-bit bus width.

With a total power consumption of 225W from a 6-pin and 8-pin power connector, three DisplayPort 2.0 outputs, and one HDMI 2.1 display output, along with real-time ray tracing technology and Microsoft’s DirectX API 12.

These two cards offer the best performance for gaming and professional applications, in addition to supporting the most advanced technologies in the field.

Overall, the Intel ARC Alchemist series looks promising as a potential addition to the GPU market. The A750 and A770 specifically provide competitive performance and prices in comparison to the offerings of Nvidia or AMD.

But the range of cards does have some drawbacks to it. With a fresh range of drivers, they don’t have the full support of games and so have struggled with performance. But with continued support, it has been improving and increasing the performance of older DX versions.
