NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti upcoming graphics card is dated to be on sale on January 3, 2023. The card is supported by DirectX 12 Ultimate and was designed using a 4 nm manufacturing process that is based on the AD104 graphics processor. The AD104-400-A1 form has been used.
This guarantees that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card will function with all current games. Future video games will include hardware raytracing, variable-rate shading, and many other features. This is possible all because of the DirectX 12 Ultimate features.
RTX 4070 Ti specifications
In its CES presentation, Nvidia has in fact confirmed the RTX 4070 Ti. And the specifics are very light with it stating it has 40 shader TFLOPs, 93 RT TFLOps, and 641 Tensor TFLOPs.
The AD104 graphics processor contains a die area of 295 mm² along with around 35,800 million transistors, making it a chip of normal size. It contains 240 texture mapping units, 7680 shading units, and 80 ROPs.
240 tensor cores are also present in the graphics card. This boosts the machine learning functions. The card also has around 60 acceleration cores for raytracing. A 192-bit memory interface connects the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card and 12 GB GDDR6X RAM from NVIDIA. The graphics card runs at a speed of 2310 MHz. This can be increased to around 2610 MHz. And, the memory operates at around 1313 MHz.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card is a dual-slot card that contains a 12-pin power connector that helps in supplying a good amount of power of 285 W. One HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4a are included as display features. A PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface has been used to connect GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card to the rest of the hardware. The card has a dual-slot cooling system and measures 336 mm by 140 mm by 61 mm.
It is important to note that PNY was the only company to release the complete specifications of its RTX 4080 12GB cards just a few days before NVIDIA discontinued this model. The XLR8 VERTO appears to be nearly comparable to what the business displayed two months ago. The only thing that is still unknown is the price, but it should unquestionably be lower than the RTX 4080 12GB’s ‘original’ $899 MSRP.
