In The Witcher 3, you play as Geralt of Rivia, a monster-hunter who is also known as a Witcher. Geralt must find his adopted daughter who went missing from the Wild Hunt, a force who is determined to capture her and use her powers.
Along the way, Geralt must battle against monsters and other forces by using his own powers, fighting abilities and series of weapons.

Moving on from a fantasy world to a historical one, Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Ancient Egypt and follows an alternate history storyline.
The storyline follows Bayek, a Medjay, and his wife Aya who try to protect the people during a time of political upheaval in the Ptolemaic Kingdom.
Bayek and Aya are thrown in the middle of a centuries-long conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and The Order of the Ancients.
As in typical Assassin’s Creed fashion, there is a fantastic open world to explore and even a Discovery Tour which gives you the chance to learn more about the time of the Ancient Egyptians.
You can explore temples, pyramids and meet famous faces such as Cleopatra herself. It’s a great game for history fans but there’s plenty for anyone to enjoy here.

If you are looking for a good Star Wars Game with Metroidvania influences, then Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a great choice. One of the biggest titles released last year, its release coincided with the final installment in the latest Star Wars movie trilogy.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order does not disappoint, and it has a lot to live up to with a dedicated Star Wars fan base. This title is set 14 years before A New Hope and follows a Jedi Padawan called Cal Kestis. Cal is being hunted through the galaxy by the Galactic Empire but must also complete his Jedi training.
Players get to develop their lightsaber skills and Force powers throughout the different combat scenarios and mini-quests along the way.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an action game set in the Sengoku period in Japan. The story follows Wolf, a shinobi, who wants revenge on a samurai clan who kidnapped his lord.
Players experience a combination of exploration, stealth, and combat in this game, with the chance to level up and develop new abilities within a skill tree layout. Combat focuses on using a katana to attack an opponent’s posture and balance in order to land a fatal blow.
There are three possible endings in this game, depending on your decisions leading up to it, so there is the opportunity for multiple playthroughs if you enjoy the title.
