The Mona Lisa of motherboards
When we say this is the Mona Lisa of motherboards, we aren’t talking about one single motherboard which is a work or art. We’re literally talking about a recreation of the world-famous Mona Lisa, made from a massive amount of old motherboards. Well, at least we hope they’re recycled bits and pieces rather than someone’s brand-new board that got unsuspectingly added to the piece.
Like we said, you can check this out for yourself over on the Reddit post on r/PCmasterrace. We definitely recommend taking a look, as the recreation does the original justice.

Motherboard Mona Lisa – what’s our verdict?
We can only commend all of those that worked to put this art piece together. Sure, it’s yet another rendition of a world-famous painting that we’ve all seen before. You can’t discredit the effort to put this together though. We love a good mashup and modern tech and centuries-old art, even if we’ve seen it before. It’s not so far away from the effort required to getting Mona Lisa on r/place unscathed.
As for where this art piece is going to live, we’re not sure just yet. It was unveiled at ASUS HQ in Taipei, so we assume that’s where it will remain for the time being. Just don’t expect it to turn up in the Louvre any time soon.
