Abkoncore has unveiled the brand new T250 premium middle tower case. With the tag line ‘colorful, simple, compact,’ it’s a tempered glass altar for your prized hardware that won’t break the bank thanks to a very affordable price tag of just shy of $50.
The standout feature is a premium tempered glass and mesh design that ensures smooth cooling. Tempered glass is fitted on the front and left, both with mesh elements on the sides that marries both efficient cooling and a pleasing look that lets in natural light while offering a window for LED RGB lighting.
The body is made of steel, while the outlook marries ABS to the tempered glass and mesh, and the right panel is made of steel.
The T250 weighs in at 5.2 kg and has dimensions of 205 mm x 385 mm x 455 mm. The T250 supports ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini ITX format motherboards. Clearances are 160 mm for the CPU cooler, 315 mm for the GPU, and 195-205 mm for the power supply.
The T250 comes with four pre-installed fixed-spectrum RGB Iris fans – three on the front, and one on the rear. There’s also support for up to four additional 120mm fans – two 120 mm fans on the top and two 120 fans mm on the PSU cover. There’s also space for radiators – 120 mm, 140 mm, 240 mm, or 360 mm on the top and 120 mm on the rear. Allied to the mesh design injecting and pushing out air, the space for front, rear, top, and bottom fans means essential components are kept cool.
The top I/O port offers one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, an audio jack, microphone input, power button, and reset button.
Both the top and bottom have detachable magnetic dust filters that are easily removable. These are positioned near two 120 mm fan slots to capture as much unwanted exterior debris as possible.
The HDD/SSD bay is spacious with space for two HDD or three SSD, which Abkoncore says is geared towards easy installation and upgrade thanks to SSD screw holes and fixing pins.
