What Is Aliens Fireteam Elite?

Aliens Fireteam Elite is a Co-op survival game set in the same universe as the Alien films. The game takes most inspiration from the second installment of the classic sci-fi series, when a team of colonial marines went toe-to-claw with the titular aliens… and generally came off pretty badly. Hopefully, you and your friends will have greater success!

The game is top-down in style and features a range of different varieties of xenomorph for you to wade through, from the standard drone all the way up to the alien queen herself (make sure to shout the famous line at her whilst you fill her full of lead!) – with most types unique creations not seen in the films with various unique attacks.

It’s all a load of good shooty nonsense, and a great laugh when playing online with your friends.

Aliens Fireteam Elite Release Date

Aliens Fireteam Elite is due for full release on August 24, 2021.

The game will be coming out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One,  Xbox Series X & S, and of course, the mighty PC.

You can pre-order Aliens Fireteam Elite before this date, though you will only be able to play it on the day of release (see below).

 

Is Aliens Fireteam Elite Crossplay?

Unfortunately, cross-platform play will not be supported between different brands of consoles and the PC, however, cross-generational play will be possible i.e. PlayStation 4 players can game with those on PlayStation 5, and Xbox One players can play with those on Xbox Series X & S.
