World of Warcraft fans will want to be subscribed to Amazon Prime this month as the global retailer is giving away a TCG WoW mount (previously worth $400) for free. The mount in question is relatively basic in design, but still incredibly attractive when paired with a zero dollar price tag.

The Big Battle Bear will be this months reward, a mount that normally requires inputting a 25 digit code found on the rear of The Red Bearon card from the WoW trading card game “Drums of War” expansion pack – from back in 2008.

The giveaway will run for the next couple of weeks, ending on April 27th, 2023.

Prime gaming WoW giveaway: Big Battle Bear mount

The free bear mount giveaway is relatively simple to claim. All you need to do is have an active Prime gaming account and link your existing Twitch account to it – a fairly simple process by all accounts.

Once synced, gamers can expect the collectable mount to drop into their mount collector tab.

While uncommon, this isn’t the first time Prime Gaming have decided to boost awareness through a rare card game mount. During the build up of WoW’s Dragonflight expansion, Blizzard offered a free card mount drop when watching eligible streams on Twitch. According to sources, the rare card mount went for north of $3,000 on sites like eBay, making it an incredibly lucrative venture.

That isn’t all Amazon has going on though, the global games platform will be offering 15 free games next month as part of another promotional push – with games such as Wolfenstein: The New Order, Sengoku, Magician Lord, and The Beast Inside all featuring.
