With a recent batch of leaks pointing towards AMD releasing a refreshed lineup of Matisse CPUs, we’re now starting to get an idea of how much they could cost. There’s no official word on the exact specifications of these processors yet though.
What Do We Know So Far?
AMD’s refresh lineup includes the Ryzen 5 3600XT, the Ryzen 7 3800XT, and the Ryzen 9 3900XT. Details of these processors were spotted on the website of French retailer Materiel.net and show the price of each processor.
Although there aren’t any specifications listed on the website, recent leaks have pointed towards the Ryzen 5 3600XT being a 6 core, 12 thread processor with a base clock of 4.0 GHz, and a boost clock of 4.7 GHz. The Ryzen 7 3800XT is set to be an 8 core, 16 thread processor with a base clock speed of 4.2 GHz, and a boost clock of up to 4.7 GHz. Finally, the Ryzen 9 3900XT is reported to be a 12 core, 24 thread processor with a base clock speed of 4.1 GHz and a boost clock of 4.8 GHz
How Much Will These Processors Cost?
These price leaks were spotted by Twitter user Djey and point towards a website with prices listed for each processor. These prices may be subject to change and maybe a little bit inflated from the retailer, but they give us a decent idea of how much to expect.
The prices found on Materiel.net are as follows:
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 XT – 319€
- AMD Ryzen 7 3800 XT – 459€
- AMD Ryzen 9 3900 XT – 499€
One thing to note is that this website also has listings for the Ryzen 5 3600X priced at 269.95€, Ryzen 7 3800X priced at 425.95€, and the Ryzen 9 3900X for 514€. This shows a definite increase in pricing for the XT version, but we don’t know whether this is a definite price increase or just a markup from the website.
While it’s good to get some idea of the pricing this refresh will use, we wouldn’t worry too much about the increase in price. We often see high prices for products before they initially release and you can usually find these products a lot cheaper after a little looking around.
