Videocardz has reported on the performance of the AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT that cropped up on GFXBench. The new range of RX 6X50 XT models are set to replace their current counterparts. With improved memory speeds and higher clock rates AMD is aiming to improve the performance of its cards. Most likely the threat coming from Intels ARC Alchemist GPUs coming soon enough.
The GFXBench shows just one entry for the AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT. It shows off the Aztec high-tier run, achieving an onscreen frame count of 9,480 (147.4 FPS). As well as an offscreen value of 23,565 frames (366.5 FPS). Now that allows us to compare the values to the RX 6700 XT. So comparing them we find that the 6750 XT gets four more FPS (1%) in the offscreen run. However, comparing the onscreen value is 186.8 FPS lower (55.9%) on the 6750 XT. So it is likely that the card is still in early testing and unlikely to be true to course.
AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT specifications
Updating on the RX 6700 XT release, the card comes with an improved memory speed and potentially increased clock rates. It supposedly comes with 18 Gbps 12GB GDDR6 memory, 2Gbps more than its predecessor. This can also explain the lower than expected performance increase even if not entirely accurate in this early stage.
There is still no confirmation on the final specifications and release date. However, the leaks suggest what the specs may be and that they are meant to release on the 10th of May.
