Among Us VR has had new gameplay shown at an Upload VR conference today, displaying how exactly the game will function.

The gameplay shows off how players will be taking on tasks in a virtual reality setting, with players stuck in the first-person view without knowing what exactly is even around the corner. The game will announced a while ago, but it’s not until now that we’ve got any sign of when exactly the game itself will be releasing. Among Us VR will launch in holiday 2022 on Meta Quest 2 and Steam VR.
It’ll be interesting to see how exactly this affects the popularity of the game and if it results in an upsurge of YouTube videos on Among Us in a VR setting.

Among Us became hugely popular during the Covid-19 pandemic and has quickly taken the world by storm. It launched back in 2018 but wasn’t really noticed until the pandemic. It was announced during The Game Awards 2021 that they’re working on an Among Us VR port after cancelling a sequel to the original game and committing to consistent updates to the original game itself.
