AOC Announces New Line-Up Of 240 Hz Esports-Ready Flat Panel And Curved Gaming Monitors

AOC is bringing a selection of curved and flat panel Full HD gaming monitors to market, the company has announced. The new models are called the C27G2ZU, the C27G2ZE, C32G2ZE, 24G2ZU, and the 24G2ZE.

With a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.1 to 0.5 ms response times, AOC is aiming firmly at the esports market by providing a silky smooth gaming experience with these new additions to its range of gaming monitors.

First up, we have the C27G2ZU, a curved 27” VA display with 240 Hz refresh rate, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 0.5 ms MPRT, 300 nits brightness, two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, four USB 3.2 Gen1, headphone out, two 2 W speakers, and FreeSync Premium support.

Next up is the C27G2ZE, a curved 27” VA panel with 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms MPRT, FreeSync Premium, 300 nits brightness, 120 sRGB coverage, 1920 x 1080 resolution, two HDMI 2.0, and one DisplayPort 1.2. The only real difference between this and the C27G2ZU is no USB ports.

Rounding up the curved line-up, we have the C32G2ZE with a curved 31.5” VA panel, 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms MPRT, FreeSync Premium, 300 nits brightness, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 123 sRGB coverage,  178/178º viewing angle, two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone out.

Moving to the flat-panel monitors, we have the 24G2ZU with a 2.8” inch TN panel, 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms response time, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 105 sRGB color coverage, 16:9 aspect ratio, 350 nits brightness, 70/160º viewing angle, a frameless bezel, two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, headphone out, and two 2 W speakers.

Also in the flat panel offering is the 24G2ZE. This one features a 23.8” TN panel, 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms response time, FreeSync Premium, 300 nits brightness, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 105 sRGB color coverage, 16:9 aspect ratio, frameless bezel design, two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, and headphone out.

As for pricing, you can expect to cough up around £300 for the C27G2ZU, £280 for the C27G2ZEE, £270 for the 24G2ZE, £290 for the 24G2ZU, and £330 for the C32G2ZE. The C27G2ZU and C27G2ZEE models will be available starting from June, while the remaining three won’t go on sale until July. AOC is also kindly throwing in a three-year warranty for each of the monitors.
