Apex Legends Monsters Within is the new Halloween event

Electronic Arts has announced the upcoming Apex Legends Halloween event, kicking off on October 12. The new Apex Legends Halloween event is called the Monsters Within, which offers a new LTM, cosmetics, a new Arena map.

Apex Legends Monsters Within Trailer
Apex Legends Shadow Royal
Last year’s Apex Legends Shadow Royale limited-time mode is back. The game that brought with it free running to Apex Legends, along with the opportunity to hunt the last players standing with shadows returns. Nothing appears to have changed from last year to now So, if you lived the old game mode, then it is your chance to resurrect the fun once again.
Moreso, the LTM is back with a free event pass, allowing players to earn rewards, such as packs, charms, sprays and other goodies.
Arena
Encore is the latest addition to the Apex Legends Arena gamemode. The new map features several walls in the middle of the battlefield and some blue and pink neon lights. Not much else to say other than it looks like quite an intense map.
Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind Apex Legends state the map is a themed map within the lore of the game. The official blog states: “Encore is located on Seer’s home planet, Boreas, and is one of the main arenas where he has been seen fighting. Seer’s most ardent fans would often cluster to watch him duel there. This map is open and offers strong environmental awareness. Good teamwork and strategy are key if you want to succeed in this arena.”
Apex Legends Monsters Within Skins
Lots of the Apex Legends Halloween skins are returning to the store. Witch Wraith, Clown Caustic and more are returning to the shop during the event. However, you can buy both of the colour variations that came with the 2020 and 2019 Halloween events.
Some aspects of the store will rotate, with the Wraith, Caustic and Mirage skins sticking around for the entire event. However, the Bloodhound and Gibraltar Halloween skins will rotate, with Gibraltar on first from October 12 – 26, with Bloodhound appearing from October 27- November 2.
