ASUS has unveiled a rather dashing new White edition of its ROG Strix Helios case. Built with tempered glass, a silver-white aluminum frame, and GPU braces, the case is designed for the ATX/ETAX mid-tower form factor.
ASUS hasn’t held back on design with a stylish case decidedly geared towards those that enjoy showcasing the innards of their gaming rig. The three quick-release 4mm-thick smoked tempered glass panels on the sides and front allied to a brushed-aluminum frame and dynamic Aura Sync RGB front lighting make for quite the stylish chassis.
Aura Sync allows you to swap millions of RGB colors and a generous selection of effects (static, breathing, strobing, rainbow, color cycle, comet, flash and dash, wave, glowing yo-yo, starry night, music effect, and GPU temperature) with a press of a dedicated button.
ASUS is also aiming to make piecing together a build easier with an adjustable smart multifunction cover suited to both ATX and EATX motherboards. There’s also a GPU cardholder to ensure it stays safe during transportation, a unique ROG Cybertext Pattern & two-piece PSU shroud (with clearance for thicker radiators), a PSU cut-out to showcase the PSU, and a transparent rear cable cover to make cable management a doddle.
The ROG Strix Helios White Edition caters to multiple graphics card setups, including three slots to install them in their standard orientation, and two to set them up vertically thanks to a bundled bracket for that extra bit of showy flair.
In terms of cooling features, ASUS has left space for 420 mm front radiators as well as a water cooling pump and reservoir. There’s also room for a 120 / 140 / 240 / 280 / 360 mm radiator on the top, 120 / 140 / 240 / 280 / 360 / 420 mm on the front, and 120 / 140 mm radiator on the rear. Fan-wise, there’s space for three 120 mm or two 140 mm on the top, three 120 mm or 140 mm on the front, and one 120 mm or 140 mm on the rear.
To top off a pretty impressive package, ASUS is throwing in a nifty case handle made with ergonomic and stylish fabric for easy transportation of the ROG Strix Helios White Edition case. It can support weights up to 110 pounds or 50 KG.
