When it comes to figuring out what weapon is a god-roll in Destiny 2, you have to take a look at what perks the weapon comes with. There are a lot of perks that go on multiple weapons that are practically useless in most situations and will ruin a god roll.

Since there are so many weapons perks in Destiny 2, it makes sense that some are just better than others. Not even playing the best class in Destiny 2 can fix a weapon with bad perks. That’s why we are going to go over some of the best weapon perks available in Destiny 2.

Best PvE Weapon Perks in Destiny 2

Weapon perks in Destiny 2 can be divided into two different groups, perks that are good for PvE content and perks that are good for PvP content. Generally, perks that you look for in PvE content are related to increasing weapon damage and allowing your weapon to fire for longer than intended. Here are some perks to keep your eyes out for:

  • Adrenaline Junkie – Getting a kill gives a stack that provides a damage bonus that maxes out at 5 stacks. Getting a kill with a grenade gives you 5 stacks.
  • Rampage – Gain a damage buff on a kill that maxes out at 3 stacks. Getting a kill at max stacks refreshes the buff timer.
  • Frenzy – After being in combat for 12 seconds, you gain a damage buff, reload buff, and handling buff that lasts until you exit combat.
  • Vorpal Weapon – Increases your weapon damage against minibosses, bosses, champions, and vehicles.
  • Subsistence – Getting a kill partially reloads your magazine from reserves.
  • Golden Tricorn – Getting a kill with this weapon grant bonus damage. While this buff is active, grenade or melee kills of the same damage type greatly increase its damage and duration.
  • Reconstruction – This weapon will slowly reload itself over time, overfilling the magazine to double capacity

Best PvP Weapon Perks in Destiny 2

When it comes to PvP weapon perks, players generally look for perks that will win them a single fight or get them back in the fight quickly. Here are some good weapon perks for PvP:

  • Outlaw – Precision kills greatly decrease reload time.
  • Quickdraw – This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast
  • Snapshot Sights – Faster time to aim down sights
  • Desperado – Reloading after a precision kill increases your rate of fire.
  • Kill Clip – Reloading after a kill grants increased damage and target acquisition.
  • Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.

Hopefully, this list of perks can give you an idea of what to keep your eyes out for in Destiny 2. There are still plenty of perks not on this list that can be useful and you may come across one that works well with a build you may be running. But if you get a new weapon and don’t know what perks to look out for, keep these lists in mind.
