Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Reportedly In September

We’ve been waiting on any news for the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta for a while. Thanks to a regular Call Of Duty leaked, we might actually have an answer as to when the beta is going to be taking place.
When Is The Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta?
Ralph Valve has stated that two beta periods will be taking place across two consecutive weekends. It’ll be on September 15 and September 16 for PlayStation (who’ve been told that they’ll get early access for the beta if they pre-order) and then later will be open to all players on the platform between September 17 and September 19.
The weekend afterwards, Xbox players will be able to play. They’ll have early access for the beta from September 22 to September 23, then general beta will be from September 24 to September 26. Curiously, there’s absolutely no mention of the beta for PC systems, so we’re still waiting on information as to how exactly that’ll work overall. Having the beta only a month before the release of the actual game might serve as concern for players however, who are wondering how exactly Activision can hope to fix any bugs in that short period of time.

When Was The Game Announced?
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was first announced back in February 2022, before the actual title and logo for the game was revealed later in April 2022. One month later we got our first trailer for the game, then confirmation of what exactly each edition of the game is (if you’re interested, we have you covered for that!). We’ll also likely see more of the title during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022, seeing as the game itself doesn’t release until October of this year.
