AMD is set to announce five new series at CES 2025 in January, including Strix Halo, Fire Range, RDNA 4, Ryzen Z2, and more.

This year’s CES event is shaping up to be full of showcases from various tech giants. NVIDIA is expected to announce its GeForce RTX 50 series, while Intel will likely provide updates on its Core Ultra 200 mobile SKUs. And now, new leaks show that AMD is also gearing up to unveil not one, but five new series targeting gamers and tech enthusiasts.

AMD reportedly launching several new laptop and handheld APUs

Reliable leaker, Zhangzhonghao, added a post on Chiphell suggesting that AMD has a lot of things to announce at CES 2025 followed by a list of products to look forward to. First on the list are updates in the laptop market, including various new offerings like the low-power Krackan APUs and the Ryzen AI 300 Max series, called Strix Halo expected to be released. AMD will also introduce the next-gen Fire Range and Fire Range X3D series, successors to the desktop-class mobile HX-Series.

As for gaming handhelds, three new APUs are claimed to launch at CES 2025: Z2E (Strix Point), Z2 (Hawk Point), and Z2G (Rembrandt), each spanning different generations and architectures. If this is true, AMD appears to be planning to offer gamers more options on the go.

RDNA 4 graphics cards and the rest of the 9000 series processors

The leaker also mentions that CES 2025 will likely be where AMD showcases RDNA 4 and reveals future Radeon plans. Previous rumors have suggested that we could see Navi 48 and Navi 44 GPUs, aimed at the mid-range and low-end markets, with no enthusiast GPU expected in this generation. Lastly, for CPUs, the 9950X3D and 9900X3D are also anticipated to debut at CES 2025 unlike their X3D counterpart, which is planned to arrive in less than 10 days now.
