The devs over at Clash Royale have taken a stand against the leakers (and you should know by now what I think about leakers!) by leaking their own stuff. In a tweet posted a few minutes ago, the makers of the popular mobile er, clash ’em-up said:

And thus a whole lot of new changes were dropped into the game (which also explains a small spike in complaints of Clash Royale being down over the past hour or so.

Let’s have a look at what’s new and live in the latest version of Clash Royale

Clash Royale balance changes (Feb 2022)

Card changes

  • Archer Queen – Down
  • Golden Knight Down
  • Giant Up
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A Up
  • Inferno Tower Up
  • Musketeer Up
  • Hunter Up
  • Royal Hogs Down
  • Ram Rider Down
  • Balloon Balanced
  • Prince Balanced
  • Dark PrinceBalanced

You can see details of all the card changes here but we have picked out a few highlights

Archer Queen

  • Move speed during ability:  (Medium -> Slow)

The Archer Queen remains strong in the Arena… maybe a bit too much. By reducing her move speed during her ability, it won’t be as easy for her to reach a Tower and will lessen her bridge spamming potential.

Inferno Tower

  • First hit speed:  (+25%)

The Inferno Tower is one of the weakest buildings. A faster first hit speed means the beam will start charging faster, but also that switching between targets will be quicker.

Hunter

First hit speed: (+11%)

The most amazing mustache (and eyebrows) in the Arena is not in its best shape. This first hit speed boost should help him find his place in the meta.
