Call of Duty’s Haunting of Verdansk event from 2020 is being revamped for 2021, with The Haunting going live across Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone on October 19th. So what time should we expect the event to go live?
Call of Duty The Haunting update release time
Though we haven’t got official word on the official release time of the COD Halloween event yet, we can assume it will be around the same time most previous Warzone/Cold War updates have gone live. Based on the update history of the games, The Haunting update is likely to release at 10am PST/1pm EST/6pm BST, October 19th, 2021.
What is COD’s The Haunting event?
Spooky season is well and truly upon us, and we have come to expect Halloween events in most of our favorite games at this time of year. Coming to both Cold War and Warzone, The Haunting will introduce new skin bundles, new maps and modes, and even a Hallows’ Eve update to Cold War Zombies. Check out the full details of everything you can expect to see in the update in our original article. You can also find full patch notes for The Haunting on Call of Duty’s official blog.
Warzone and Cold War Scream Ghostface bundle
The highlight of The Haunting is undoubtedly the Ghostface Operator skin bundle, which will be available during The Haunting. It seems the event comes in conjunction with the release of the fifth Scream movie, due in theaters on January 14th, 2022. So while we await Ghostface’s return to the big screen, fans of the franchise can at least adorn their COD Operator in the new Ghostface garb.
