Cooler Master announces new SFX ATX 3.0 power supply

In the newest generation of graphics cards, the new 12VHPWR and ATX 3.0 standards have been in use. Particularly from Nvidia’s RTX 4000 series. With that, new power supplies have been released and now Cooler Master is launching a new range of V SFX Platinum PSUs.

The range is of small-factor power supplies with a lot of power behind them. There are two units launching, an 1100 and 1300 W choices. They will also have an 80 PLUS Platinum certification, allowing them to have a small volume but also great efficiency.

This release is the continuation of its entry into the market of the 850W SFX power supply in 2021. This release coming to help with the growing needs of PC components.

Along with the highest power density in a small form factor to help cram it in into any hardware for you.

As an SFX power supply, they are compatible with a wider range of PC cases. These are capable of fitting into mini-ITX cases and support much higher wattages now.

With full ATX 3.0 support, the PSUs feature a 12VHPWR connector. Compact 12+4 pin cables, which are capable of delivering up to 600 W via a single cable.

There is also a full-bridge LLC and DC-DC technology. Designed for non-contact heat dissipation, it aims to reduce switching losses of PSU. Improving overall efficiency.

Along with a standard limited manufacturing warranty of 10 years.

V SFX Platinum release date and pricing

The V SFX Platinum power supplies are launching in the UK from the 27th of February at Scan computers in limited availability. With more coming in the following weeks.

And they have a UK MSRP of £369.99 for the 1100 W unit. And £399.99 for the 1300 W version. Whilst in Europe these will have an MSRP of €379 and €389 respectively.
