Cristiano Ronaldo, once one of the best players on FIFA 23 (and in real life obviously) has had his player rating dropped to 88 overall.

Why has Ronaldo’s FIFA 23 rating dropped?

Ronaldo’s rating now stands at 88 since the post-world cup update.

He started the season as a 90-rated player but since the shock exit from Manchester United due to a falling out with Erik ten Hag he moved to Saudi Arabian club – Al Nassr.

Ronaldo became Al Nassr’s best player in the game, with the rating reduction having zero impact in that regard.

This collection of events seems to have racked up, with some of his specific stats also taking a bit of a beating. Cristiano Ronaldo’s dribbling has shiffted from 84 to 81 and his stamina has taken a hit, being reduced from 74 to 70.

Ronaldo still remains a free agent on FIFA 23 since the latest update, meaning he can be signed in career mode for free.

As one of the greatest players to grace the world of football hits his lowest rating in 16 years (since his break through year with Manchester United, he is still a beast. The nosedive doesn’t take away his status as one of the best players in FIFA 23 and we think he will remain as one of the best until his retirement
