The joint GOAT has not had a great time of late, having a torrid time at Manchester United and crashing out of the World Cup with Portugal.

This set of events lead to him hitting the lowest-ever rating he has had since FIFA 08=7.

Well, things have got “virtually” worse with the latest FIFA 23 TOTY nominees not including the footballing legend.

Why is Ronaldo not in FIFA 23 TOTY?

Ronaldo’s rating now stands at 88 since the post-world cup update in FIFA 23, falling from 90.

Ronaldo exited Manchester United a the end of last year due to a falling out with Erik ten Hag. He then moved to Al Nassr and didn’t have the dream World Cup many expected, leading to the drop in rating.

It seems logical that he has now been left out of the TOTY conversation, with some of his specific stats also taking a bit of a beating.

Ronaldo’s dribbling has shifted from 84 to 81 and his stamina has taken a hit, being reduced from 74 to 70.
