Game Cyberpunk 2077

Let’s be honest, Cyberpunk 2077 has been a little hit and miss since its launch – riddled with annoying bugs that have left many individuals disappointed. Fortunately, CD Projekt Red have stuck by their word and are maintaining focus on the game, bringing out a bunch of free DLC drops in 2021 ahead of some more major updates in the first part of 2022.

In this article, we’ll be taking a closer look at the latest Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, why it has been delayed, and what to expect moving forward.

So, with plenty to get through, let’s waste no further time and dive straight into it!

Cyberpunk 2077 DLC Release Dates

The Cyberpunk ‘Our Commitment’ roadmap was quietly updated towards the end of 2021. Originally the plan was for a bumper release of DLC and the next-gen content patch to drop prior to the end of the year. With the update, however, all of that was shifted into 2022, with nothing more concrete than that. So we know this year should be the year, but then, last year should have been the year.

Despite a much-troubled launch things have got steadier for the game and CD Projekt Red is still backing it saying: “We are planning to release the free, next-gen update for Cyberpunk 2077 in 2022. We’re aiming for the first quarter of the year and we’ll reveal more when we have more to share. The team is working to bring relevant fixes to the game without any obligatory overtime. Avoiding crunch on all of our future projects is one of our top priorities.”

When all is said and done we would guestimate that somewhere between March and May we will get the good stuff given to us.

We recently received the latest piece of Cyberpunk 2077 DLC – for PC users only – offering up some bug fixes that were linked to game crashes on older processors. Prior to this, the 1.3 patch was released – the biggest update since the game’s original release. You can check the 1.3 patch notes here.

Cyberpunk 2077 DLC leaks

There have been leaks and rumors about what we can expect from the 1.5 )PC) and next-gen patch including the news that the launch will be treated as a soft relaunch for the game. Also, it will be rebadged as the Samurai Edition. The last part sounds a bit suspect, but it’s not exactly been a normal release from the start

Still 14 Cyberpunk DLCs Remaining

Whilst the 1.3 patch gave us three pieces of free DLC, gamers are still awaiting the arrival of 14 additional pieces of DLC.

Below, we have compiled a list of all the latest DLC content that is due to the release during 2022

Charlie Noon, thank you for the CP77 news, any update makes me happy, so this one is great news! I’ve been playing on PS4-Slim since launch, & it’s been fantastic for me.
I experienced only a few bugs, the worst of them involved being stuck in a satellite dish somehow on a rooftop, after dispatching a small gang of Tyger Claws that were hacking into something. All I had to do was reload my latest autosave & ever since, it’s just been the odd crash here or there.

I’m looking forward to getting back into Cyberpunk when more DLC arrives, I’ll come to see what you have to say first, thanks again
