The new Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes are here. At long last, these patch notes support next-generation consoles, adding in the option for Ray Tracing with performance mode options. There is a plethora of new content as well, including weapons, apartments, a hairdressing mirror, and more. Here is the low down on the new Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes.

Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes add in new content

Across every single gaming platform, the new content features all-new Cyberpunk 2077 weapons. If you head over Wilson’s you can find yourself trying out the Darra Polytechnic Umbra power assault rifle, along with the Budget Arms Guillotine, a powered SMG. In addition, there are new scopes featuring two new short scopes, a sniper rifle scope and a long-range scope. There are even new weapon attachments like the five new muzzle breaks for pistols and another five for SMG and AR weapons.

Meanwhile, there are now more apartments the player can rent coming out thanks to the latest Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes. You can get new homes in Northside, while Corp, Japantown and the Glen have new property to enquire about. Below is the list of the apartments you can get and how much for:

  • Northside, Watson (€$5,000)
  • Japantown, Westbrook (€$15,000)
  • The Glen, Heywood (€$40,000)
  • Corpo Plaza, City Center (€$55,000)

Lastly, there is the hairdresser mirror. When you visit a hairdresser mirror, you now have the option to change your hair, piercings and more. This mirror is a welcome touch for those who fancy a fresh new look to their character.

Next generation support

The console side of the Cyberpunk 2077 launch left much to be desired. But, the good news, the new Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes contain some major changes to next-generation gaming. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will benefit from better performance modes and ray tracing. Obviously, you’ll need to choose which mode you like. However, if you want to see Cyberpunk 2077 in the gorgeous aesthetic it wanted from day 1, now you can. Be aware it will lower your frames significantly console players, but it is worth the switch up.

Like all Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes, this one also comes with a closet full of bug fixes and tweaks. We won’t bore you with the changes coming, but rest assured, if you had a bug recently, chances are it is gone.
