Dell Announce the XPS 13 Laptop At CES 2020

Dell never seems to shy away from a CES event and CES 2020 was no different. We see a lot of new products in Dell’s corner, with the most notable being the new laptops and 4K monitors.

Dell XPS 13 Laptop

Dell had an array of different laptops but the best they had on show was the XPS 13. Yet again, Dell have produced another stunning laptop that’s not only thin, but built to last and packed with some impressive specs. The Dell XPS 13 2020 edition comes with a four-sided infinity edge 13.4″ display and you have the option to purchase this in full high definition or 4K. There is even a touch display option!

The entry-level model of this laptop will feature a 10th-generation Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The laptop can be upgraded/ ships with different configurations that can be customized for your needs. You can take the Intel 10th generation Core i7 1065G7 CPU instead, install up to 32GB of RAM and grab yourself 1TB of SSD if you needed.

Dell claims this laptop will get up to 19 hours of battery life but for laptop owners out there, we all know what this figure really means.

Price And Availability

The laptop was officially launched at CES 2020 on the 7th of January. The laptop is on sale now but only in selected countries, which include the US and UK and its entry-level model will set you back $999.99. This price seems reasonable and sits in line with ultrabooks we have seen with similar specifications.

Final Words

The Dell XPS 13 could be the general use laptop to beat in 2020, shaping to be one of the premium ultrabooks of the year. The laptop market is a competitive one and while I’m not sure consumers would buy the lower-spec laptop for that much money, there are still some interesting features to this that will catch a few people’s eye.
