If you have found yourself waiting for the next Diablo 2 Resurrected patch you will be happy to know that Blizzard has announced a tentative date of “early December” for a whole host of fixes that the game has been in need of. #

While we don’t have an exact date there is no reason to believe that it won’t be in the first week of next month barring any major catastrophes (which with Blizzard’s last few months isn’t beyond the realms of possibility).

What’s in Diablo 2 Resurrected’s next patch?

Accessibility improvements and graphics scaling abilities are among the main headlines. You can read the full patch notes here in Blizzard’s own Blog post but we have picked out a couple of things below that look the most interesting.

Offline Difficulty Scaling

This is a feature that PC players will be familiar with and it’s now coming to console platforms. It requires a tweak in your settings where you can scale things such as monster difficulty (default set at 1 for one player, all the way up to eight. To try and explain that further, if you want ed to make the monsters as hard as they are in a four-player game, even though it’s just you playing, you would set the difficulty to four. Why would you want to do that besides showing off? Well, it dramatically improves the rewards you earn too, so it could well be worth the risk.

Accessibility and graphical improvements

Audio cues have been added to the menus to improve accessibility in both the PC and console versions of the game.

Graphical improvements

If you have a compatible Nvidia GPU on your PC you can now enable DLSS to increase graphical performance while maintaining your GPU performance

Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR (Public Test Realm)

Next up the game is the launch of the PTR which will allow all players to join in and shape the future of the game testing new features, and initially the game’s database. We will have more info on this when it goes live so you will know if you want to take active part in testing.
