We think someone at Double 11 must have planned for this for some time, but the patch notes for Rust console’s 1.11 update have been released on November 11th. Yes, that’s 11.11. Double 11.
To celebrate the date which mirrors the developer’s name, they have also announced an in-game giveaway alongside the small update. This only applies to Rust on console, as the PC and console versions of the game are separate to one another. As such, there are no Rust PC patch notes today, and the last PC update was earlier this month.

- An issue with the player’s Locker favorites not saving correctly has been fixed, which is also related to Rock Skins not applying correctly when favorited.
- Improvements have been made to the pre-loading time on skins when booting the game.
- There was also an issue with the aim down sight sensitivity being different across consoles, and this has now been resolved.
These are just a few of the patches in update 1.11 for Rust console. Take a look at the full patch notes at double11.com.
