Fan’s of Techland’s Dying Light 2 got their first glimpse of some exciting new parkour moves and melee combat in last night’s Stay Human trailer. The zombie survival game from Techland is set to release in December of 2021, sparking even more anticipation for the title. 

The gameplay trailer aired at the Xbox pre-launch event for Gamescom last night, showcasing some exciting new parkour moves and melee combat that is sure to get your tastebuds working.

For those that missed Xbox’s pre-launch show last night, here’s the latest Dying Light 2 trailer, showing off some of the new moves that will be available.

Developers at the event classed the new combat features as “modern dark ages”, going to state that the game would offer over double the parkour moves of the original title.

The game seems to be much more advanced than the original, opening up the theoretical door to new combat combinations – including a handy gameplay feature which allows gamers to stagger enemies with a kick before really opening up the taps.

Another noteworthy mention was how the height of the surrounding buildings has increased in the new title. Additionally, human fight scenarios are now much more frequent in Dying Light 2, displaying the broader breakdown of society in the timeframe of the game.

Alongside the cool cinematics, the trailer also showcased the game’s new exciting visual capabilities – including support for 4K, Ray-tracing, and DLSS.
